At 15 March 2007 more than $442,000 has been pledged or donated towards the establishment of the Gallery by businesses, organisations and individuals in the Matamata Piako District and Morrinsville in particular.

The Matamata Piako District Council has pledged $700,000 and Trust Waikato $160,000 in addition to the pledges above.
