On Hold to Read is a group exhibition curated by Wallace Gallery Director Justin Jade Morgan.
Split between the Flexi-Space and Community Gallery this exhibition presents a diverse range of paintings, sculptures and text based works inspired by literature.
This exhibition will also introduce a book depository for guests to enjoy a book or two while they spend time in the gallery and live readings by local Waikato poets alongside the launch of ‘Atonement’ a stunning new pocket book of poetry published by Morrinsville poet Vaughan Rapatahana featuring wonderful artwork by the talented Pauline Canlas Wu.

Artworks featuring in the exhibition by:
Paul Cullen, Catherine Fooks, Roger Key, Tessa Laird, Peter Madden, Gary Peters, Zac Langdon Pole, Glen Snow, Leon Van Den Edkel and Rohan Wealleans.

Opening: Saturday 10th October (5-7 pm)
Atonement book launch and poetry readings:
Saturday 17th of October (11 am — 1 pm)
