Tools of the Trade Project is a collaborative project where participating creative’s have been invited to present their tools in a physical and or digital form to allow each of us the chance to engage in the process of forming a new network of understandings and relationships about the artists working process.

All interested artists and creatives of the local and wider communities within the Waikato are invited to call in and drop off their tools which can be added to the physical or digital form of the exhibition.
Drop off days between 28-30th of October.

“Throughout this exhibition we are offered the chance to look at the building of a collaborative studio archive, whilst together engaging in the process of bringing each of these tools to life. Physical objects such as glitter, paper, a knife, bits of paint, an eye mask, toothpaste, soap, a computer, a cutting matt, perfume and so on begin to form a complete set of tools, thus forming a physical and visual look at a New Zealand and or global studio today”.
