My introduction to water colour inspired me to teach others this wonderful medium, and together with my pupils we have enjoyed many serendipitous moments.
Something magic happens when you create a water colour, the medium when put on to wet paper, changes form immediately as the water carries the pigment along with, it making wonderful designs and marks as it dries. It is through this element that artists can express themselves.
It is very versatile in that it can be used together with other mediums, such as, gouache, acrylics, oils, crayons, marker pens, pen and ink, collage, charcoal and pastel.
