I am a committed Christian and Minister of Religion, currently the associate pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Pukete. - I don't paint religious scenes - but paint mainly seascapes and landscapes.

My place of birth is Hartlepool on England's North-East coast. I was a member of the British Army before emigrating to NZ joining the NZ Army. I am married to a Kiwi and we have six children.
I have always been interested in art and dabbled in Maori carving tapestry and knitting - my ambition though was to paint.

On retirement I purchased a few oil paints, brushes, canvas and joined the Art Group in Papatoetoe teaching myself from library books, Alwyn Crawshaw 's video's and other artists.

In 2001 my husband and I moved to Te Aroha, where I joined the local golf club (my other love) I also became a member of the Art Group in Te Aroha and enjoy the fellowship there. Since attending, my painting style has developed somewhat and this is evident in my paintings, especially through the beautiful NZ scenery. My paintings can be seen locally, in the UK. America and Japan.
