Volunteering Waikato, Te Ohu Tuuao O Waikato, hosts the Volunteer Excellence Awards annually to celebrate volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to our community.
Valerie Ferguson's legacy has been recognized with a posthumous award in the category of Lifetime Achievement. The Morrinsville Gallery Family shares this recognition with the entire community.Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers for being the heart of our organization during the last fourteen years, this recognition is also for you!
“You meet lots of people in life that talk about doing things, Val didn’t just talk about doing things she got stuck in and made things happen. Need a cake for a celebration or catering, Val could make it happen. Looking for fundraising ideas, Val had heaps and the contacts to make it all happen. The Morrinsville Gallery has been privileged to have had Val’s talent as a Trustee and Fundraiser.”
